Solomon Thompson Jr is the Founder and CEO of Blue Collar Objects, a cutting edge technology company, based in Fairfax Virginia. The company developed a Software as a Service platform, based upon an abstract object model for business systems, which has been used to:
- Re-develop and re-platform, for the US Treasury, a Loan Management System
- Deliver a data warehouse solution for the US Department of Defense
- Deliver the first iteration of leveraging a digital twin model to provide an Innovation and Contract Management solution for a global telecommunication company’s Research subsidiary.
Internally, over the first 15 years of operation (starting in 2005), Solomon and his leadership team, pioneered doing both software delivery and company operations, using a 100% fully remote work force, applying Agile values and principles before the coining of terms and branding of methods like SAFe, Scrum@Scale, or Business Agility existed.
Having over 20,000 hours of running a fully remote, agile organization and having done over 20 years of Transformation Consulting for the US Department of Defense, NYC Federal Reserve Bank, US Patent and Trademark Office, Carbon Black, Fannie Mae, US Postal Service OIG (and more), Solomon has transitioned Blue Collar Objects from a government contracting business model to Innovation as a Service model, allowing large organizations to outsource their innovation to a company (Blue Collar Objects) and platform (NetVRP), stretching the possibilities of using Agile principles and values, AI, both to re-platform and re-develop outdated systems, and to add AI-powered UX innovations. This secret sauce allows us to provide our 3D+V Value Proposition –
Dramatic reductions in:
- Time to Discover
- Time to Decide
- Time to Deliver
- Time to Value for our clients’ Customers as well as their own company
In 2020, Solomon co-launched DirekteDigital, a Global Technology Products and Services company, based in Delaware, and serves as a fractional CEO in his spare time 🤓.
