Solomon Thompson Jr
Sol founded Blue Collar Objects and built the agentic platform the whole ecosystem runs on. He began at IBM, where over ten years as a Senior Consultant he led object-oriented software and business-process transformation engagements for Fortune 100 insurers, banks, retailers and hospitality companies, earning IBM’s Certified Professional Consultant credential in enterprise systems integration. In the 25 years since, he did transformation consulting for the Global Telecom Corporations, Climate Tech Corporations, Network Security Corporations, Hospitality Concerns, U.S. Department of Defense, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Fannie Mae and more — and since 2006 he has been running the distributed-organization experiment this page describes. He holds a BSEE from the University of Pennsylvania, with executive credentials from Wharton in fintech and from MIT in applied data science, AI product design, and design thinking. Insane devotion to simplicity is his, and now everyone’s, standing order.
Eric Sedor
Eric co-founded Blue Collar Objects and, as chief architect and CTO, designed the firm’s first platform — the one that went on to serve Treasury and Department of Defense solutions. From 2006 he also designed how the firm works: a fully distributed agile team of teams, for operations and software development alike, at a time when most people believed effective teams had to share a room. Eric was Sol’s mentor and remains on the Advisory Board.
Carl Eckstein
A venture capitalist by trade, Carl founded and served as Managing Director of the Next Generation Capital Fund I and II, participated in 22 investments, mergers, and acquisitions, and stepped in to steer three struggling portfolio companies to successful exits. Through IBM, Price Waterhouse, Arthur Young, and his own firm, he has advised more than 250 organizations. He is also the founder and chairman of Alpha Endeavour.

Our operations run in code. Contracts, invoices, records and scheduling are handled by the Big Heads, a council of AI agents with deliberately different points of view. They argue in the open, every action is recorded for audit, and people make the decisions. That is why our overhead is low.
