Process Triggers
A new web page has been created that doesn't already have a page owner OR
It's been determined that an existing web page doesn't have a page owner
Process Completion Criteria
- Human meets page ownership criteria
- Human assigned to manage page content
- Human receives full access to page
- Human added to topic owners list
Page Ownership Criteria
- Must have read the WikiUsage topic
- Human must be knowledgable of WIKI usage and basic WIKI syntax for creating, editting, access assignment, etc.
- Human must have self service approach; ability to safely update content without assistance
- Willing to monitor page on a regular basis, as needed. Each page owner must subscribe to WebNotify of the page they own.
Page Owner Guidelines
- Every topic must have a page owner (person) who is responsible for the content of the page.
- The topic name should be the first line in any topic (so that the file will be be easy to examine offline, eventually with some tools.)
- Always remember that the web site is for business purposes only therefore use discretion with content management
- Always remain cognizant of the material on pages owned and update as appropriate.
- Immediately delete objectionable or inappropriate material
- Use text, can be with HTML but with no scripts, xml, or special tags.
- Don't include copyrighted material or restricted property of others anywhere on the website.
- Super users have the authority to update any page
- Anyone can comment on a page having a comment box
